Gone gone to NYC, where you going to go with a heart that empty

So lately I've been experimenting different hair styles.

Although it's not like I haven't done these hairstyles before, but perhaps I've gained a tiny tiny hair style fetish

All I have is yours, all you see is mine

In the past week:
  • I'm managed to scrounge up a pair of printed tights, jeans, and Monrow sweatpants
  • I'm still in search for the perfect pair of boots
  • Collect a few new magazines and read them each three times
  • Make a mess out of my clean room
  • Win a $150 necklace at an auction for only $25
  • Receive tons of MAC makeup
  • Go through three boxes of strawberries
  • Finish "Interpreter of Maladies" and analyze some stories

Please tell, what have you done?

I even get lost in this song

So, while I've been wishing that I could be seated in a front seat to every show fashion show, I ,instead, have been intensely browsing blogs and websites.  I'm saving a collection of photographs of all the designs I wish to own (one day). Which collections were you impressed by?
Next stop, London fashion week.

I really do enjoy Jeremy Kost's polaroids though.

But it’s a small, small world, girl. Getting even smaller every day

Sorry I've been posting so infrequently; I suppose I could use the excuse that i've just started school, but I'm not actually sure that's the case. I've honestly just been a bit lazy.
On another note, tv shows are always some inspiration to my fashion wardrobe (good or bad).  There's Skins, Gossip Girl, the new 90210, Project Runway, and you know the others.  What are some of your favorites and the characters from them? Or what are some of your other inspirations? I love to hear other peoples insights, it's super fascinating.

I get such a rush, it's almost too much

I - for some unknown reason - have some intense romance with lockets and antique jewelry.  Erica Weiner has created and found some really interesting and lovely pieces.  I purchased a four way locket and a secret ring with engraving on the inside.  I was also very intrigued by this tiny harmonica necklace for it sort of reminds me of when I used to fool around with all my little toy instruments.

I promise I will post some photos soon. I've just been a tad busy.

We go to sleep to shake up you, never wake up on our own

Yesterday, I did a little shopping on Abbot Kinney.  One of my favorites store on the block, A+R, had some wicked neat mirrors.  The designers are Jeannie Choe and Steven Tomlinson, made by Areaware.  The mirrors have cut outs of different objects: mustaches, pirate patches and parrots, moose ears, pearl necklaces, and half skulls.  I purchased the mustache one.  Most of them are priced at thirty-five dollars - a few are a bit more.  They also had some eye catching jewelry created by Gogo and Zauker and their company Toy Me.  The collection includes pieces from childhood  memories and everyday objects, such as lego blocks, zippers, and scissors.

I run the streets and I break up houses. River runs deep and the flame devours it.

Yesterday - when not watching the Olympics - was spent shopping down at Fred Segal (since I do - did - have $600 worth of gift certificates).  I managed to buy a thin, wool, striped cardigan, perfect for fall.  The stripes are not very noticeable, but the fact that it was so comfortable made me purchase it.  Along with the cardigan, I also bought a new pair of slight high-waisted Hudson shorts and some eye liner.  Oh yes, and  a pair of mirrored swim goggles.  Perhaps I'll post photographs later.
